Beaches in the Netherlands
Since the west side of the Netherlands entirely borders the sea, you can expect there to be some beaches. Amsterdam itself has 3 beaches spread out over the city, but these are all “fake” beaches. For a real beach you have to go outside of Amsterdam, where there are plenty of beaches to go to. We have listed several beaches like Bloemendaal, Zandvoort and Scheveningen for you to check out, all within two hours travelling from Amsterdam.
These 3 beaches in Amsterdam are worth visiting during summer:

Encouraged by last season's amazing success we have further upgraded the facilities at the city beach. There is a new kitchen, twice as large as the old, an extra large outdoor café and a cool new decorative scheme. The result is a genuine Mediterranean atmosphere in Amsterdam Zuid, with an à la carte menu and room for 140 diners
